Everest base camp trek is one of the most famous treks in the world. It takes you into the heart of the Nepalese Himalaya, with incredible awe-inspiring views of many of the worlds highest and most beautiful mountains. Everest Base Camp is recommended as a ‘Must see before die destination. The trekkers should pass through the Sagarmatha National Park, which is the world heritage site in the Khumbu region. Sagarmatha is the Nepalese name of Mt. Everest, which means the top of the tops Sherpas, the famous climbers, inhabit the Khumbu region. Many expedition teams can be observed from this trekking trail. Along the way delightful encounters with unique flora and fauna, friendly Sherpa people, colorful festivals & Buddhist monasteries. Perhaps even a glimpse of the mysterious Yeti. The story of this mountain inhabitant remains a mystery to the rest of the world. Tentatively this treks takes you about 11 to 14 days, depends on physical fitness of clients. Trek to Everest base camp passes through the pictorial village like Namche, Khumjung and Thame etc. This trek offers special view of the Mt. Everest from the closer point called Alabaster (5550m) or form Kalapatthar (5254m). Alabaster / Kalapatthar is a hiking from Workshop where EBC trekkers stop for the last night. Temperature in Everest Base Camp trek is expected bellow than zero almost all season. While passing the trail to the EBC there are many monasteries including Tengboache monastery. The trail passes with the carved Mani stone, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels and singing prayers for everyone’s well-being. Lodges are available while on trekking.
